Oz Creek Cattery is a small cattery located in central Kansas. I no longer live on Oz Creek, but will never forget many happy
years spent there. I breed and show  CFA British Short hair. I no longer breed Selkirk Rex, even though I love this sweet
breed, and have decided to concentrate on the Brits. My goal is to breed kittens that are healthy, true to breed standards,
and wonderful companions for their owners. I strive for quality, not quantity. Kittens are given a lot of attention from birth. The
first seven weeks of a kittens life it is very important to spend time with them as this is the most important period for
socialization of a kitten. I love my cats and want my cattery to be a safe place where they thrive and feel comfortable with
people and each other. My cattery is FELV, FIV, and PKD negative.

British Short hair cats are the oldest breed in Great Britain. They have short, plush coats, big round eyes, are compact, well
balanced and powerful. They are medium to large in size and slow to mature, taking up to 3, or even 5 years to attain mature
size. They have more hair per square inch than any other cat. The kittens look like little Teddy Bears. They are wonderful
companions. Blue is the most popular color, but in CFA they come in all colors except pointed. My Brits are blue, cream
tabby, calico, silver spotted, and blue cream..

I have kittens available from time to time. Kittens are for pets, and occasional show or breeding. It is wise to place a deposit
on a kitten you like to avoid losing it to someone else. I will ship your kitten, possibly meet you part way, or you are welcome
to come get your kitten and see my cattery.

I also occasionally have retired males and females. They are sold for a nominal $150 and will be spayed or neutered. Please
contact me if you see a retired cat you are interested in.They are pictured on the male, female and kitten pages
